Madonna, queen of pop as an fashion icon in fashion world. Her eclectic style defined an entire generation during the 80s. Last month, Madonna has release her new album “Hard Candy”. The album cover shows fabulous Madonna fitting in a sexy garment vintage black corset creation by Dolce & Gabbana, with clad in black fingerless leather gloves and leather boots to her thighs with a peppermint colored background. I am really impressed Madonna that a women over 40, still not afraid to keep changing her style for every album.

Abercrombie & Fitch 'The Emperor's New Clothes'

Abercrombie & Fitch has releasing a new catalog by Bruce Weber full of sexual shots with not even clothing by teen models. But this time, it will be sold only in London and priced "like an art book" at close to $200. Socialites in London response said that's porn more than the art.

The last A&F catalog in 2003, which sold for just $6 in the US, but because of complaints about sexually suggestive photographs, company stopped making them. But the A&F stores still love the scandalous pictures.

In February, police removed two ads with Weber's images from a Virginia Beach store and charged the manager with obscenity. The police issued the summons after Abercrombie management did not heed warnings to remove the images after some customers complained. One picture showed three shirtless young men, with one man’s upper buttocks showing. The other image was of a woman whose breast was mostly exposed.

Rice crisis

During the weekend, I went to supermarket had some foods supply for next week, when pass by the rice section. Damn, lot of the cheaper local rice is out of stock... its unbelievable for a country which 70% rice supply by local, 30% import from neighbour countries.

While the news said the rice shortage will not effective badly as another countries, but what I seem in supermarket is totally difference. I still can't understand why 70% of the cheaper local rice is unavailable in the store, and I have spending more to get the imported rice.

Is it local rice has really shortage of supply because the bad weather or waiting for opportunities to get better price gaining the profit? We will see.

Meet shrimp at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company

After been working blooding in five weekdays, is time to enjoy the wonderful short weekend with sea and foods at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Long Beach California...

Yes, I just joking. We are right in Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, not in Long Beach California, but in this topical city. The reason visiting this restaurant, of course is for the shrimp. Yes, beside the drinks and desserts, all you can get on the menus consists mostly shrimp, that's the special for this restaurant.

The Bubba Gump Shrimp Company is a chain of seafood restaurants inspired by the film Forrest Gump. The first Bubba Gump Shrimp Company opened in 1996 on Cannery Row in Monterey, California. The restaurant is named after the movie's main characters Benjamin Bufford "Bubba" Blue and Forrest Gump who talked about going into shrimping business.

All right, After bla bla bla about the history of Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, is time taste it the foods. We had shrimp in deep fried, Tempura and steam cook, bite with some of their best Shrimp Skewers and Bubba's hot and spicy butter for basting. As Forrest and Bubba said “Shrimp is the Fruit of the Sea” in the movie.

Than, we still feel wanted more, we had shrimp again with their secret Garlic and Cajun spices, and Bubba's smoky garlic butter. After all, we had 'kill' more than 1kg shrimp family...damn!

Fashion funfair

The world of fashion designer, not just design clothes. Is also involved the image of the fashion house and the creation of runway stage for fashion show.

Cloths is apart of the runway show, but the most important for the show is the concept of the runway stage. because that's is the first place put on the new collection before sell on the store. The stage atmosphere will bring up the style of the brand too.

The fashion show always a step faster than season, while begin summer, the show already for fall and winter. That's the way for fashion business.

This year Fall/Winter show, designers again has show it their creative idea for the runway stage during the fashion show.

Number of the shows, I am personally like YSL very much. White fabric was stretched taut between the floor and the domed ceiling of the Grand Palais, creating an intimate tented environment within the cavernous space.

Chanel is my favour too. Karl Lagerfeld's merry-go-round for Chanel under the domes of the Grand Palais, swapped the horses for handbags, camellias, tweed jackets and other Chanel icons bring me back to childhood time.

Alexander McQueen called his show 'The girl who lived in a tree'. The set was inspired by environmental artist Christo. Is very outstanding show.

John Galliano working with set designer Michael Howells and producer Bureau Betak, John Galliano created a film set that saw him directing his first Galliano Films production based on the poem 'Kubla Khan' by Samuel Taylor Coleridge - gold, fountains, flowers and fruit were plentiful.

Roberto Cavalli imput his creation on the runway. The curtains of the Opera Garnier were reproduced on the walls of the tent, giving the atmosphere at the show a dream-like quality.

Frida Giannini commissioned a specially designed wall-to-wall carpet for Gucci's show venue. The bronze mirror backdrop was finished with a black griffin Gucci crest, while guests sat on benches covered in black velvet.

Gianni Versace has put the show on a spectactular oval runway was constructed within the Versace Teatro, the brand's dedicated show space designed by Rocco Magnoli of Studio Spatium, featuring a 360 degree cinema screen that projected images from counter-culture photo-collagist Tim Roeloffs, who also collaborated with Donatella Versace on a series of dresses.

I dating with Zara Warehouse Sale

9.00am. I woke-up early for my mission of the day that I mark it on my calender a day before. 'The Zara Warehouse Sale' which having first time in this city.

10.55am. I thought maybe we will be first 200 persons arrive at the sale, because today is holiday, people live in the city might over-hang on Wednesday 'ladies night'. By the time we walk-in the ballroom for the sale, goodness! I get shocking what happening in front of my eye. More than 500 Zara fans already fighting in 'shopping war' for their victory, cloths is here and there mess on rail or even on floor as well.

11.20am. Me and my friends still 'hurting' the leftover cloths on the rail. Unfortunately, that not much choose on sizes for small and medium size body.

11.40am. After round and round on the rails, finally I found my 'victims' which left on the corner, two pieces of Zara long sleeve shirts cost RM400 (USD127), but I paid RM120 which 70% off discounts I never get before for Zara cloths during the store sale.

11.50am. We plan leaving the "war", but the hard time is come again. Its is long line up from cashier counter until end to the corner, more than 100 people in front of my line...damn!

1.30pm. After almost two hours on line up, we get off from the 'war', save home with our with our victory. Thank god!
