love this city more

Citizens always find some reason escape city for while, example like: find fresh air, find new ideas, find mind peace, find expression and more reasons played on their mind, but have you think about why you living in this city? it's must have some reasons why you here.

Born in city. You have no choice, because your daddy and mommy love city life.

Study in city. You have no choice too, because most the international campus love to be in city.

Work in city. You have no choice again, because more opportunely working in big name company's.

Marry in city. You have no choice again and again, because your love one is born here.

Live in city. You have no more choice, because your whole family, job and love is here.

While you feel upset about no another choose to living here, didn't means that it's no any good points to live in this city. Living in city, you never have problem on leisure to spending free time. time always not enough for clubbing, movie, ktv, art performances, live concert, spa and more...

You never have get death in hungry but die in full. In the city, foods shop and restaurant is everywhere in the corner you live, wanted have romance dinner, french gourmet or italian cuisine is your right place. Or wake-up in the mid-night feel wanted have a bite, just call 24 hours fast food delivery.

You never get bored in shopping. Big mall is keep opening in the city, luxury boutiques from A to Z all under one roof. The season sales almost full on the calender, warehouse sales is even make you shop in crazy!

You never have problem to travelling or move around. The airport just away an hour from city, everyone can fly easy from home. if you move by driving, tollway is crossing mad in the city, you will get smooth journey as you pay the toll. Beside that, buses service is conveniens for everyone from north to south, east cross west, Taxi service is everywhere on the street as you call the numbers or show up the hand.

So, be more happy living in this city...

Plaid alive on Fall/Winter 2008

If you cleaning your wardrobe for the new season cloths and found plaid cloths on the rail. Please don't trashing into the plastic bag. because your plaid cloths will be one of the must have item on the coming Fall/Winter 2008-09..

While we still enjoy the sun and busy reading the summer trends on window display in the mall. Some of my favors designer's like Dolce & Gabbana, DSquared2, Comme des Garçons, John Galliano, Yohji Yamamoto already start showing the direction of trends for Fall/ Winter 2008-09 on their runway shows at the fashion week in Milan and Paris.

This year Fall/Winter, the plaid is back to the runway shows again after few seasons, specially D&G collection was taken in a plaid mad direction for almost whole runway show. But surprisingly, the 'Plaid Mafia'. Yohji Yamamoto only use plaid hidden in the lining of coats and as prints for tailored shirts.

My pity Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2008

As a fans of Louis Vuitton. Yes, please don't tagging me as rich guy, what I means "fans of Louis Vuitton" is a supporter which carries the Louis Vuitton's 'print ad' in magazines and 'window' shopping at their shops. I am still not really can afford to own it the high fashion luxurious item yet, but I hope someday will own it one.

What I can say about creations by US designer Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2008? Chip and colourful? Or I suppose say cheap and ugly?

I have to say sorry to Louis Vuitton. If I can afford to own one, definitely will not choose this season design item, because to me Louis Vuitton is full of classic and elegant. I will not carry a scary contrast colours bag which cost more than US1200 but look like US120.

Meanwhile, If I not mistaken, Louis Vuitton has come out graffiti collection on the bags in Spring/Summer 2001 designed by Stephen Sprouse in collaboration with Takashi Murakami. When the collections came out is "shock" the fashion fans and the supporters of Louis Vuitton.

My point is sample, just walk in to their shops, check out what collections they carry on the display. Do you see any graffiti collection on the main display bags bar? The answer is no, but you can found the famous classic designs collection is always available on the display for many years.

Please don't tell me that ugly graffiti collection is too hot until unavailable, smart Louis Vuitton don't easily waste their opportunities to get fortune from your wallet.

Be creative like drinks vending machine?

Some people always have a misunderstood for people like me who do design for living. They thought designer brain is always be 'creative function' all the time, just like a drinks vending machine, push the button than get what it you needed.

I really hate some people I am work with it sometime. No matter how many time I explain and told them "I need more time to be more creative on the work", by end of the day, they only give me few hours to finish number of works.

During the rush hour in the middle input some idea on work, if they seem don't like the design, they will said: "can you be more creative....." Excuse me, how suppose I can be 'more creative' which even not enough time to finish the works?

Is that means writer need more time that designer do to work or designer just like the cheap drinks vending machine, push the button get what you need in anytime?

Foodball fever

Do you still remember been behind the line waiting to get a piece of Mexico coffee bread? After that fully lost control crazy about the fancy cupcake, than change your loyalty to J.Co or Big apple donuts not long ago. But now is cheese cake from The Loaf might turn to be everyone 'must try list'

On the first lunching, the shop is full of people desperate be the first one to taste it. I just wondering how long the cheese cake fever will stand on this time? a month, a year or even more?

Goodbye

Friday, 8.00 am. She totally walk out from door of my life without say a word or goodbye. Before that, I am told myself someday she might leaving us, but I didn't expected so sudden...

My brain is empty and frozen in second, tears fall a river. Her shocking death just broke the heart of everyone she loved. I close my eye wish time back to the past, phone never ring, she still alive. But than, things never change after open my eye, she is gone like a light blown off in the wind, left everyone she loved live in darkness.

God give her a life, but not in good life. She been live in difficult as a single mother of four children and working hard for family, by the time she retired starting enjoying the life, god took her away from us.

Is it fair for her and everyone she loved? I don't know. I believe god took her for some reason. Even she no longer with us anymore, but no one will forget her, we all love her and she will always alive in our heart. Goodbye my dear auntie.

Food of generations

Finally, I am visit this old cultural heritage town again. the last visit is three years ago.

The reason I visit this old town because the delicious foods and colonization heritage streets. But, I am feel cultural shock. This full of mixture traditions and cultural old town is completely change make it like others tourist cities. Unfortunately, the change didn't make the old town look better, but growing up some typical city buildings in the middle of this old town. Largest shopping mall just opposite of the Portuguese fortress gate, revolving tower on heritage streets...

However, I am glad that the taste of foods by generations is still keep it well like last time. On arrival, I had famous Nyonya Laksa as lunch at one of the Nyonya-Baba heritage street. A home-made ice cream and Tutti Fruiti for my afternoon tea break at the 60s retro dessert shop. A delicious street food Popiah as my starter for dinner. Main course, Satay Celup full of new experience for my first time in the lovely rainy night...

Since I am in a place full of nice foods, of course I can't waste my opportunity to taste, I had one of the special food on this heritage street. The famous chicken rice ball as my breakfast with fabulous home-taste soup before back to the place I am live.
